Pottery Wheel Workshop: First Touch

Create your first piece on the pottery wheel at our Kadıköy studio. Experience the meditative peace of shaping clay under the guidance of instructor Selin. The workshop begins with a brief introduction to ceramics history. Then you'll learn clay preparation, wheel control, and basic form-making techniques. Bowl, vase, or cup — whatever you'd like to make. Each participant will create at least 2 pieces. You'll select your favorite, choose a glaze color, and receive the fired piece within 2 weeks. Tea and cookies served throughout. Work in a stress-free environment with music. Clothes may get dirty — we provide aprons but dress comfortably.
